Wyoming DSC believes hunting is conservation.
Habitat, research, and wildlife law enforcement work are all paid for by hunters. It helps hunted species, as well as countless non-hunted species. Through state licenses and fees, hunters pay $796 million a year for conservation programs. So far, the tax has raised more than $8 billion for wildlife conservation.
PROTECTING HUNTER'S RIGHTS
Advocacy is a part of DSC’s mission. DSC and DSC-PAC have been very successful in defeating legislation that would have severely curtailed hunting rights and negatively impacted vast tracts of hunting habitat. Your contributions to the DSC-PAC go directly to efforts that support and help elect pro-hunting, pro-Second Amendment candidates at the federal and state levels.
Although we value each aspect of our mission statement, education is at the top of our list. Wyoming DSC actively holds events just for women to help educate them in feeling confident performing different types of sporting events. Wyoming DSC is heavily involved in supporting our youth as well. We have purchased diminishing supplies for the Wyoming Hunter’s Education Department so the instructors have top notch supplies to use during their lessons. We will continue to support the Wyoming Hunter’s Education Dept in their endeavors to enhance their program.
